April 23 - A succulent garden at the Water Conservation Garden. I love the bridge made by the dead tree trunk.
April 21 - This is the pond at the Water Conservation Garden. The fog in the middle is a mist coming from the pipe. I don't know the purpose of that. This is one of my favorite pictures from my last shoot.
April 20 - I'm sorry I have not posted each day, but I have indeed been shooting. I just have not had time to post. It's all I can do to get the photos uploaded to my real estate agents private gallery. This is one shot that I like a lot. It's going into a collage of the two golf clubs in the area. Her new home page will be unveiled on May 2nd with a slideshow of my photos.
April 19 - I've been very busy taking lots of pictures lately. This is one that I worked up today for the real estate agent's website. I've made a number of these composites in order to get all of the local landmarks included. I reduced the opacity of the background layer to make it recede into the background. I made a composite of several housing developments and another of the parks etc. I think it's going to be very nice.
April 10 - I was out today taking photos for my assignment by the local real estate agent. I got several of the local parks. I wish the grass was green here, but it hasn't greened up yet. Does anyone know a way to make it green without making it look fake?
April 8 - Happy Easter! This image says it all for me. New life, renewal, springtime. I love the bright colors too. I hope you are all enjoying a nice day with your families.
April 3 - Old Tree - I found a technique to give an image a special look. It's done by layering a sharp image with a blurred one. I tried it on this image of an old pepper tree. I think it gives it an almost eerie glow. Of course the light was already there, but the combination of sharp and blur makes it mysterious. (I just noticed that I had forgotten to link this gallery to the daily photo community. No wonder there were no comments for the last two days. Or maybe there would have been none anyway. smile)
April 2 - Another one of those older ranches. It is right next to a golf course now. Kind of strange, the sign and the lush green golf course with no stock in sight.
April 1 - A local real estate agent has asked me to take pictures of some local landmarks for her. She is planning to create a slide show on her website. I will get credits for the photos and a link to my site as well as a promo write-up in her newsletter. This is one of the pictures I took as I went up a road I had never ventured on before. It's one of the older ranch properties behind a new development.
