Over six decades ago, Nick Ferrante began his family owned business in Washington, D.C. and later opened a small store in Marlow Heights called Fleischman's Village Market. For years, he served the Washington community, offering the finest meats custom-cut to meet his buyers needs. In 1969, Nick decided to move his little store further down Branch Avenue and opened Nicks's Supermarket in Clinton, Maryland.
Today, Nick is retired, but the store is still run by the Ferrante family. Nick's oldest son, Joe, and his wife, Jean, own and operate the store.
