Feb. 4, 2013 - Thousands of Cambodians went to the area around the Royal Palace to say their final goodbye's to Norodom Sihanouk.
Some were able to enter the cremation site. The military prepared the big guns for the royal 101 gun salute in the cremation ceremony.
Everywhere in pictures King Father Norodom Sihanouk seemed to be waving goodbye to his children.
Late in the evening, after the cremation fires had burned, the top 7 meters of the crematorium spire were removed,
presumably to signify that the King Father was no longer there.
