Rescue Story: This is Rocky, a 3-month old kitten we found roaming the hallways of our apartment building. Our fear was that someone would let him outside, and as there are coyotes and foxes which call the nearby woods their home, we didn't want that fate for him. So we took him into our bathroom with a litterbox and some food and water. I quickly snapped some pictures and put this one on a "Found: Missing Kitten" sign along with our phone number. Within an hour, a woman from upstairs calls us, frantically asking about the kitten. Rocky apparently escaped stealthly past some repairmen who entered to estimate an air conditioner repair.
