"In June as many as a dozen species may burst their buds on a single day.
No man can heed all of these anniversaries; no man can ignore all of them."
(Aldo Leopold)
June 30th: My neighbor's daisies in the gloaming.
June 26th: One of the cottontails that lives in my mother's yard.
June 9th: Sunlight and ivy combine to create a rather abstract image for today.
June 8th: My favorite old visitor, Eleanor, hadn't been around quite as much and it is evident today just why. She's very much a mother again!
June 6th: The view coming out of my backyard. Too pretty to miss.
June 4th: As demonstrated by newly-weaned Pipsqueak, position is everything in life.
June 1st: Early in the morning I discovered this little ball of feathers ensconsed in the pine tree above the squirrel feeder. By the time I ran and grabbed the camera, he'd moved from only a few feet above my head to much higher up the tree. It was a crapshoot if I'd get enough of a shot...stinker.
