> Friday night we enjoyed the music of "Chester River Runoff" while we enjoyed the vistas at Conquest Beach, each other, the food and the ambiance.
> Diane Freestate talking to Doug. I spent the better part of Saturday afternoon running around trying to locate a burgee that Doug had loaned me. The burgee was borrowed from Doug to give to Peter Tasi, who was designing a club logo for us. It first went from Doug to me. I gave it the next day to my husband to be mailed. The addressed manilla envelope addressed to Peter sat for four months on my husband's desk, unmailed. Luckily, Peter and I saw each other at Ship Point - both of us wondering why the other hadn't completed the agreed upon task - only to discover it had never been mailed. It was retrieved from the desk and hand delivered to Peter. Peter returned it (punctually) to Steve Shenk at the regatta. Steve Shenk put it in a folder and laid the folder in a box to hold for Doug. The burgee fell out and Luke saw it... SOLD! Uh oh. So the search begins for Norman Davidson and his stash of elusive burgees. I'm still trying to pry one out of him. And so it goes... a typical CRYC chain of events.

> Luke put on an awesome Friday night dinner/party. Chester River Runoff came and played and we had a succulent roast pig dinner provided by the club and every manner of delicious home-made side dishes provided by the members for $7. And if that wasn't good enough, we tapped the keg and the beer was free!
