> The boats are beginning to line up for the start.

> Now, everyone is on the line. I couldn't get all the Comets in the shot without panning way out... but this shot visually is a pretty good indication of the number of boats... now times that by THREE. But what you don't experience in this photo is the sound of the sails luffing and (I'm sure) kicking up the adrenalin a notch.
