Trying to explain what can happen on 6th Street on a weekend evening to someone who's never been there can sometimes be difficult. I snapped these pictures from the second floor balcony of a bar on a Friday night during the South by Southwest music festival. I've seen it more crowded during Mardi Gras, but this is a pretty good idea of what it looks like when it's busy.
