Juicer > This photograph took silver in the Intermediate (TG) Rooftops catagory. The stunning uniformity of the red rooftops of Dubrovnik in Croatia, coupled with the clear blue sea and sky backdrop of the Med make this one of the most photogenic, and photographed, cities in the world, and rightly so.
Juicer > This photograph took silver in the Advanced Signs of Life catagory. The gardener left his gloves on one of the tombs when he walked of for lunch at the Jewish Holocaust Museum in Berlin. A small sign of life in a large place of death, something about that I liked.
Juicer > This photograph took silver in the Advanced Music 2007 catagory. Not my preferred subject (people) but the passion of the lead singer in a local band was an ideal subject for portrait photography.
Juicer > This photograph took silver in the Advanced Medical catagory. I lit the subject with two different spots, making the resulting white dots on the pills look a bit like eyes, giving them a little bit of character.....
Juicer > This photograph took silver in the Advanced Bonus: Selective Inversion catagory which allowed for selective manipulation. Closest I could come to a literal representation of a Zebra Crossing....
Juicer > This photograph took silver in the fun Advanced Bonus: Demotivational Poster catagory which called for a demotivational poster based along the lines of the motivational ones we are used to seeing.
Juicer > This photograph took silver in the Intermediate (TG) Furniture catagory. Simple low angled shot of the chairs at my breakfast table, their strong lines criss-crossing had an interesting look to me.
Juicer > This photograph took silver in the Team: Round Six: Morning catagory. On the morning of the big day, everything has to be immaculately prepared and look just perfect, all the hard work is done by somebody else so its great to just turn up and capture the result
Juicer > This photograph took gold in the Advanced Alphabet: Letter U catagory. Umbrellas, on their day off, rest in their protective covering. I think that ironic really. They also make interesting subjects for an abstract.
