These were shot with the Fuji's onboard flash and, while interesting, are not as flattering as I'd like. At this distance the flash is too hot. There is almost a ghostly pallor to the faces and I had to do some work on the eyes to trim down the white reflection. I think the sepia-tone helps a bit.

My next attempt will be in daylight or existing light.
