The 10th Anniversary ALMS Petit LeMans was held Oct. 6 at the 12 turn 2.54 mile Road Atlanta course. The 1000 mile test of man and machine resulted in the closest finish in series history, a mere 9/10th's of one second between winning Audi diesel LMP1 prototype and the gas powered Penske Porsche LMP2 prototype. An estimated 100,000 race fans were treated to an exciting day of racing under a sunny Georgia sky. What more can you ask for?
