Baby Barb, front and center.
Now, I am all grown up and enjoying life. My kids are 27, 25, and 23. Out of college and one married. Hallelujah! You would think my job is over unless you are also a Mother and know better.
I used to be interested in knitting crazy scarves and making pottery, but now I just can't keep my hands off my Nikons.
Have you ever heard the expression, "Looking at the world through rose colored glasses?" Well, I look at it as if there was a lens in front of my face.
Sometimes there is one and the capture is there.

Miss Cotton and Barb
The black and white Barb was about 18 years old when I was "Miss Cotton" in Memphis. I had to wear all cotton which was hard in the late 70's when the old nasty kind of Polyester was all the rage. Making people feel comfortable at conventions and functions was my job.
I am shown here pinning a badge onto a man's shirt with WHAT???? my (50 year old) head on it!!!! I like the younger version better, don't you?
