My home town of Lincoln is an ancient City, with a recorded history going back more than 2000 years. The cathedral, and old town, are perched on a hill that dominates the surrounding flatlands, despite being barely 250' high. Consequently, Lincolnshire is known as "Big Sky Country", and this is never more apparent than at sunset.
