The morning after the long tour... 'twas windy! So I drove 1/2 a mile to the Tahoe Key's meadow to set up my kite and had a great first session of the year. The wind was gusty, on and off... sucked when you caught air, were 5 ft up and the wind totally died and you got tossed to the ground. Probably my first real use of the helmet. Oh... the snow was more like ice... with some soft snow and steady wind, this should be real fun.
