My name is Tami Jo Gramont and I photograph horses and western life.
Since I picked up my camera a few years ago I’ve had some amazing opportunities; from taking photos at a round-up on the 7-Up Ranch to having my first show at the Goldenstein in Sedona. I’ve met the most amazing horses and some fascinating people.
The images featured in my up coming book,
"Equus Magic", are from clinics by Mark Rashid and Kathleen Lindely, sale barns, at pasture horses, and a variety of equine moments.
After shooting cutting events, round-ups, clinics, shows, practices, entire ranches and stuff I’ve forgotten I have learned that what I like is to find the moment from what has been offered.
At the end of the day of shooting, holding a 4 pound camera and lens, having been extremely cold or hot, generally dirty, around horses and horse people all day and usually tired I walk away knowing, more than anything, I love my job.
