- Paul Ritchie, Pastor -
I am thankful that my parents demonstrated for me the difference that a relationship with the living God makes in people's lives. When I was eleven I made a response to the Gospel at a Scripture Union camp, however it was not until I had left school that I began to accept the consequences of being a Christian. In my twenties I took a job as a lay assistant in a church and from there I went on to train for pastoral ministry. Over the years in this work I have realised more and more the importance of preaching and teaching from the Bible, I believe that this is the primary way a pastor fulfils their role in the church. I am married to Caroline and we have two children: Anya who is two, and Ronan who was born in June 2006. I enjoy reading and playing football (although I am notably lacking in pace and skill). I am a casual Arsenal supporter but a passionate Munster and Ireland rugby supporter (I'm from Cork but I support Ulster rugby too!).
