The photo of the day!
July 26, 2008 Daily Photo. Day 143.
House on Hamilton Avenue in Weehawken. It is steps from the site of the of Burr - Hamilton duel. As every schoolboy knows, Aaron Burr, then the Vice President, shot and mortally wounded Alexander Hamilton, former Secretary of the Treasury, (and Aide de Camp to Gen'l Washington during the Revolution) in a duel on July 11, 1804. Hamilton died the next day in Greenwich Village.
The house has a spectacular view of the Hudson River and midtown Manhattan, which I have posted as the runner up for today.
I could totally get into living here.
