Taken on Riverside Drive in Austin, Texas.
So I had heard tell of some commotion occurring downtown one weekday evening. I got off work late enough (again) to pretty much miss it. I had my camera with me, so I just started taking random pictures on the way home.
The settings are absolutely cranked on the camera. ISO 3200, Shutter priority 1/45th. This was the only way anything was going to turn out without a tripod. They were still almost all underexposed. I kind of like the look you get from processing them in Photoshop. You can alter the data for the areas that actually exposed some detail, but the rest is lost in a sea of smeared color. Haven taken the time to properly expose all these shots for the multiple seconds they needed, I would have come out with superior shots. Still, it's nice to know you can still have something to show for taking pictures at night on the move.
