Lots of people have been asking me if I can rent out my studio to them
for photo shoots. So...

I would be willing to rent my studio in East Rutherford out to
photographers, but under the condition that I or one of my assistants
would have to be in the building during the shoot.

My current studio rental rates would be as follows:

$30 per hour 2 hours min.
$100 half day rate (4 hours)
$200 full day rate (8 hours)

This is for the downstairs studio area which has a 19'x11' shooting
space with 10' ceilings and walls painted 12% grey.
The downstairs also has a small sitting area, a makeup area, and a
small changing area.
Notes: The restroom in upstairs. There is no handicap access to the
downstairs area, we are in a private residence. We also have a cat in
the upstairs area.

For an additional $20/hr. you can rent both floors of shooting space.
We can set up another set on the second floor- we do this for our
workshops. It is roughly the same size (a bit larger but not much) as
the shooting area downstairs. Off the side of this area is a 10'x10'
room with a small window that provides ambient light, which at this
time would be included.

So the rate for both sets and the small room would be:

$50 per hour, min. 2 hrs.
$180 half day rate (4 hrs.)
$300 full day rate (8 hrs.)

We also have a backyard, which can be utilized for shooting- but
ABSOLUTELY NO NUDITY outside. We have neighbors.

There is also a park about a block away that's about 6 blocks long and
3 blocks wide. (county park, permits may be needed for large groups of
shooters)

We would prefer that you bring your our lighting equipment and
background materials.
Use of our lighting equipment or background materials incur additional
fees which include the setup fees:
Background Materials-
6x9 in choice of blk, pnk, ylw, bl, grn (good for 3/4 to head shots) - $15/hr.
10x20 white muslin with or without fantasy cloth,or 107in. thunder
grey or black paper- $30/hr
Continuous Lights-
2-250 watt Hotlight Setup : $15/hr.
Halogen Shop Lights : $15/hr.
Full (4 units) Fluorescent Cool Setup: $40/hr.
Strobe Lights-
Alien Bees Strobe Setup- 3-800 watt units $200/hr.

We have MUA's and stylists available for freelance work, they work at
their own rates. We can put you in touch with them for rate quotes if
you are interested.

We can accept cash or paypal for the payment in advance for the
rental. Dates must be booked at least a week in advance to ensure that
the space is available.

We organize The Snapshot Syndicate, a monthly Meet and Greet
organization or Photographers, Models, MUA's, Stylists, etc.
We have some discounts on rentals for our members and affiliate groups
we belong to, as well as for photographers who rent on a continual
basis from us.
