On a beautiful Friday at the end of March, we went to the Carmel mountains with Gail and Dave, and our friends, Coby and Aviva. Steve and I then went on to Kibbutz Lavi for Shabbat. On Sunday, we went hiking in Nachal Ma'arot, and then went for a stroll in Dor Habonim. Pictures were taken by both of us - using different cameras. In case you're interested, the higher image numbers (in the 5000's) were taken by a Canon S60, and the lower numbers (in the 1000's) were taken by a Canon Xti (400D).

Had to include this picture as proof that we did all this.
We began our mini-trip on Friday in the Carmel mountains. The view includes an outlying suburb of Haifa.
Not sure what this is. Ask Stevie. He took this pic.
Don't think that we climbed all the way to the summit of a major mountain.
Our rental car took us quite high up, and then we STROLLED around.
We were a little late (around 2 weeks) for the fields of flowers - but did finds some.
