Went to Point Pelee Provincial Park for the first time on May 9, 2008. Had a beautiful day birding from sunrise to sunset.
The sign reads: "You are now just south of the 42nd parallel, as far south as Rome and Barcelona. Some of Canada's rarest plants and animals are found at Point Pelee because of its mild southerly climate."
