Rudyboy  > Motorcycles > Oregon Loop, May 2008
I did a ride though Eastern Oregon with my friend Mark, covering 1,200 miles over 4 days and 3 nights via bike. (Is there a better way?) First camp was at Hell's Canyon, then at Page Springs near Frenchglen. The last night was along the Chewaucan River near Paisley. Great ride, great weather! Many of the pictures show a lot of nothing, which is kinda what northern Nevada and southeastern Oregon is made of - a vast, empty landscape. Or at least it appears that way to the casual observer - there is of course a unique and even diverse population of plants and animals. But is is nonetheless a vast desert. Imagine being the first pioneers to travel through here!
