The photos in this gallery are a sort of snapshots. They may be modified in the computer, but yhey are not supposed to be magnificent photos in any way - they are daily photos. I probably can´t make a photo every day, but I try to make one at least every week!

mortimer > Uploaded 13/7-08. After a break of over 1 year having software-problems we made our weatherstation work again - we were able to show the weather in Gjurup on www.weatherunderground.com and on www.dmi.dk.

This photo is captured by moving the camera around for 1 seconds. When I saw the photo, I was a little surprised, until I began to think. The pattern at the right comes from 4 small lambs, and the spots accur, because the lambs are connected to the main (AC).Because the mains in Denmark have a frequency of 50 Hz (50 oscillations pr. second), there are 50 spots for each lamb. The white light at the left comes from a flashlight using batteries, and therefore there are no spots in the white light.

I have made quite a lot of PP on this photo.
mortimer > Uploaded 24/6-08. Taken at Skagen 14/6-08. I have a bit been busy since then. I have made some PP on this photo , as you can see, and the photo is taken with help of my rear-view mirror on a very rainy day.

This photo is taken inside the tower of the sand-covered church near Skagen in the northern part of Denmark. The tower is the only part left of the church. (I refer to the text to my photo posted 15/6). My wife is on the way down.

We went for a trip to Skagen the most northerly town in Denmark. This is the sand-covered church close to Skagen. In fact it was the former parish church of Skagen. Now a days you can only see the tower, the rest of the church is covered with sand.
The church was built about the year 1400 and it was extended to the west and the tower was erected in the year 1450. In the period between the year 1775 and 1795 the church was covered with shifting sand (except the tower) and the church was closed. After that the tower was preserved as a navigation mark and it was whitewashed. In the year 1903 the tower was registered as an ancient monument. There are a lot of visitors here every year.
mortimer > Uploaded 8/6-08. I took a shot of two fishermen walking along the beach. The present weather in Denmark is extremely hot and dry, so staying at the beach is just wonderful.
