On Sunday, June 8, 2008 The Rt. Rev. George Councell, XI Bishop of New Jersey, visited St. Mary’s. During the 9:00 Eucharist he preached, celebrated the Eucharist, presided over the Sacrament of Baptism, and administered the Sacrament of Confirmation. A reception followed in the Guild House for the Bishop and those baptized and confirmed. Bishop Councell visited the Church School and the children of the Church School entertained all with a selection of songs they have been learning.
