Table Rock Cross - Boise, Idaho.

Light-Master > Looking SE. In the distance are buildings for Micron PC's and the Boise Factory Outlet stores.
Light-Master > Looking west. More of the local mountain.
Light-Master > Looking SE. The Boise River can be seen. Out of the picture to the left is Luck Peak Reservoir which is a major recreation site. The bridge is part of highway 21 which runs up the mountain to Idaho City. I often ride my bike from my house, under the bridge, then along the river to Lucky Peak.
Light-Master > Looking north. Part of the mountain. Visible near the bottom is the dirt road you drive the last 1/2 mile to get up to the top. A gate can be seen the blocks the road from sunset to sunrise.
Light-Master > Looking SE. This picture gives you a feel for how high up from the valley floor you are.
Light-Master > Looking SW from Table Rock. Downtown Boise if out of the picture to the right. The Boise airport is past the trees in the left center.
Light-Master > Looking to the NW. The road you see is the road you take to get up to Table Rock. I've done this ride on my bike and it's quite a climb. It's 3 miles up and gets steeper as you go.
Light-Master > This is the famous cross which can be seen at night from quite a distance as it's lit (there are lights inside the cross). It's not much to look at close up but from a distance it looks great. In the background are some of the numerous communication towers up there.
