Thoughts by Holly 2-16-10
As much as I would love to blog, I'm just not finding the time. So I'm hoping this little section will provide some insite into my busy little world. It may be studio news or a tid bit of information about me and my life.

2-16-10 - My 2010 season is officially underway and I'm starting to fill up my calendar. If you are thinking of booking a session with me in 2010 now is a good time to get on my schedule. Outdoor fall sessions book quickly as I'm limited to shooting on just the weekends, so if you are thinking an outdoor fall session contact me now before it's too late. Daylight savings arrives March 14th and we will finally have light after 5pm. Thus, I will be offering weeknight outdoor sessions. I love natural light photography and plus it's way more fun shooting outside. :) I can't think of a better way to enjoy the springtime. To book your 2010 session contact me me via email at hollytroxelphotography@hotmail.com or try my cell at 402-300-0122. Thanks, -H-

1-22-2010 - I'm very excited to begin my 2010 season. Please contact me to set up your session for this year. I'm offering new this year a "Watch Me Grow" package. This package is designed for newborns through their first year of life. Due to the overwhelming amount of sessions last year I will be making some adjustments this year. I want each and everyone of my sessions to be an expression of my "art" and I also want to have my clients pleased with my work and the amount of time it takes to achieve this. Therefore, my 2010 disclosure to all my clients or inquiries will be of this, I'm a full time insurance agent by day, a mom of two girls with a full schedule of activities and I have a home, husband ,and family that requires, laundry, dishes, cleaning, homework, and bit of attention.. and I want to still have a life outside of my camera & computer chair. If you want instant gradification with quick pixs, then I would suggest I'm not the photographer for you! :) I want everyones final images to be art and expression of my creativity. I also this year will not be taking on large group sessions, such as class reunions or large family sessions. I will be limiting the number of people per session to 8 or less. I strive on building a personal reletionship with my clients and by keeping my sessions small will help me achive this and also give attention to details. I'm excited to begin this new year. Not only to meet new clients but to touch base with my existing ones.

Please email or call to set up your session for 2010. Thanks, H

12-13-09 - God's Blessings to everyone this Christmas Season. May we all remember the true meaning of Christmas and reflect back on the greatest gift ever given, our Savior! Merry Christmas! - H-

9-14-09 For those of you who are still hoping to sneak in a session yet this year, I'm sorry to say my 2009 sittings are officially booked. I will begin shooting 2010 sittings starting January 6th. I will also have the 2010 sitting packages updated with new and exciting products availble sometime in late November. Please feel free to email me at anytime with questions or to set up a session for 2010. Thanks!!! - H-

8-25-09 - My senior sessions are officially booked through the end of the 2009 year. Also, my outdoor and weekend session for 2009 are totally booked. I still have indoor only weeknight sessions available through November 13th. Please email me at hollytroxelphotography@hotmail.com for available dates and packages. Finally I'm super excited to say I got my sign up in front of the studio this last week. I want to send out a special thank you to my sisters for making & painting the sign for me and my hubby & father in law for hanging it. Also a big shout out to J & B Vinyl for the lettering. Drive by and check it out!!!

7-13-09, Well I'm officially swomped and lacking in sleep! I hope everyone is patient with me while getting out your images. I never imaged in my wildest dreams that God would bless me so abundently! But I'm truly thankful to God and of course all my clients who have chosen me to capture a small glimpse of their life. Each and every client is so special to me and I want to make sure your session is designed & created to reflect your life & style... so when your cussing me on where your sneak peeks are or your finished products is.. hopefully you will be reminded Michelangelo did not paint the Sistine Chapel overnight and that your piece of art will soon be complete also!

Thanks again everyone for your patience.

It's rare that I get a family picture... but I managed to get smiles from everyone on Thanksgiving day 2008.

I want to thank my sister Joyce for braving the cold and snapping this family photo.

It's great that "C", my oldest daughter, forces me to be in front of the camera. I often forget how awkward it can be. Thanks C for taking my picture. You are really growing in your photography!!!
