Scott York has been involved with photography most of his life. In the late 70's, he began learning traditional photography methods. In the 1990's, his background as an Industrial & Systems Engineer combined with his love for imagery, gave him the foundation to become an early adapter to digital technology. As technology improved, Scott transferred his darkroom skills into Photoshop skills. He has worked as a staff newspaper photographer which provided a rigorous format to utilize and hone his skills, both behind the camera and in front of the computer. Scott provides a variety of photos from political events to the travel photography, which is his true love. Scott has traveled throughout Central, South America, and Europe and is sharing here many photos from such places. These photos are not always so polished but can give a true feeling of the place, the moment, and the atmosphere. This is the imagery that Scott "shoots" for.
