We are the quintessential "Mom & Pop Shop." Duskin is the photographer and Stephanie is everyone else. Together, you get "Duskin Hill Photography," a Houston-based photography business whose mission is to create fine art photography, capture your important events, and help you make the most of your memories and record them for your future posterity.
the talentduskinSimplicity is Duskin's key vision. The simpler it is, the more powerful it speaks. His goal is to help others enjoy and share the experience he envisioned behind the lens. It's the essence that captivates us all with the art of photography. For as long as Duskin can remember, he's been fascinated with cameras. It might have been his first Kodak Brownie having him capture images he wanted others to share no matter how mundane it may have seen to others. As time passed, his vision has evolved while his portfolio grew. Today, Duskin is a full-time Web designer and part-time photographer. Both passions allow him to fully utilize the creativity, imagination and they compliment each other harmoniously. Duskin is an active member and officer of the Houston Photographic Society. He's garnered numerous local and international awards which include first place standings. His fine art photos hang in local coffee shops and inside The Methodist Experience Art Gallery. |
the beauty and the brainsstephanieThe driving force behind Duskin is Stephanie, Duskin's better half. She is the one who meets, greets, speaks, explains the process, helps guide the customer, and does all the behind the scenes work. Without her, Memories by Duskin would be nothing more than an idea. Not only does Stephanie keep the business intact with her great attitude and foresight, she also doubles as a full-time registered nurse at a pediatric hospital working in nursing informatics. And if that weren't enough, she's nearing completion of her Master degree! Stephanie is the glue that helps bond children with the photographer. She keeps their attention, demonstrates a caring and loving demeanor, and is a child-magnet. When you e-mail or call us, chances are, it is Stephanie who will be graciously helping you with your photographic needs. |
