Lisa on Location is run by Lisa with a little help from her husband Jayme. Lisa’s objective is simple: To create the most beautiful and unique photographs possible of families and children, brides and grooms, pregnant and nursing mothers, and aspiring models; and capture the fun and excitement of weddings and special events.

Lisa scouts out the most amazing settings for her photo shoots and takes full advantage of the beauty of our environment whenever possible. Being based in scenic New Braunfels is convenient for access to the beauty of the Texas Hill Country as well as dramatic locations in Austin, San Marcos and San Antonio.

Lisa is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce.

Lisa studied photojournalism at Texas A&M University in the early 1990s. After earning her B.S. in journalism, Lisa worked for a variety of newspapers throughout Texas as a reporter, editor and photojournalist, where she developed a talent for sports and life photography. After a child-raising, full-time Mommy break from photography and journalism, Lisa continued her photographic education with the New York Institute of Photography and plunged into a series of seminars, workshops and photo courses. Lisa openly shares her knowledge of photography in her photography course offered through New Braunfels Independent School District Community Education and offers private tutoring as well. As a mother of three with experience in educational and daycare settings, Lisa has a keen interest in portraiture of children and families. She uses her experience in photojournalism to capture the warmth and fun in family relationships. Lisa sees beauty in everyone and it's her goal to bring that beauty into print whether it be via candid images or more elaborately staged scenes of fantasy. As an active member of La Leche League International, Lisa is also a passionate advocate of the beauty in motherhood and specializes in classic, stylish and tasteful nursing and maternity photography.

Jayme also loves to experiment with infrared imaging--photographing scenes with light that lies just outside of the range of human vision.
