Jordan 7th grade girls

The Jordan seventh-grade girls basketball team finished first at the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted girls basketball tournament on Saturday, Jan. 3 and the Shakopee tournament on Jan. 10. For the Shakopee tournament, Jordan defeated Prior Lake 23-11, Lakeville South 25-16 and Apple Valley 30-15. In their quarterfinal game of the HLWW tournament, Jordan defeated Monticello 34-7.  The followed that up with a 32-14 victory over Htuchinson in the semifinals. In the championship game, Jordan hung on to win 30-28 over Mayer. Those three wins brings the 7th grade girls record to 10-2 for the season. The girls have competed in five tournaments so far this year and have placed first three times, second once and third once.  Jordan's overall record improved to 13 - 2 after this last weekends action.   Pictured are (from left); front row, Makena Weiscamp and Carina Larson.
