Our Visit to the visual extravaganza of Canada's Rocky Mountains began with an overnight train (VIA RAIL) along the Fraser River from Vancouver to Jasper. From Jasper, we drove a rental car through the Columbian Ice Fields to Lake Louise, and then on to Banff. From Banff, it was a shortish drive to Calgary, Alberta, and the CALGARY STAMPEDE.
