"Let's face it, booking a wedding photographer can be scary. There is a certain amount of risk that you take because you are trusting one person to capture one of the most important times of your life. I found Ananda through a wedding related website and she had an awesome package deal so I decided to check her out. After meeting with Ananda my fiancé and I decided to hire her on the spot without meeting with any other photographers. Her price was super affordable, she was professional, easy to talk to, very friendly and personable. I know that I would never be able to hire someone for my wedding if I don't feel that special "connection." Taking photos for the wedding was a lot of fun! Ananda and her team of photographers (Manny and Lisa) let us be ourselves and managed to capture the essence of our relationship. She was open to our suggestions and made sure that we didn't feel rushed or stressed out. I was able to see close to 250 shots of my wedding on her website the next morning!!! I am so glad that I took the risk and booked Ananda as our photographer. I can't wait to see how great the rest of our wedding pictures turn out!"

"If you want excellent photography for your wedding then use her. She was on time. It was her and Lisa shooting the pictures for my wedding. They were prompt getting to the Hotel and were very easy to work with. They knew what they were doing when, and how to do it. They were very professional and relaxed. You have no worries with them shooting your wedding day. We were out on a Catamaran and they did beautiful shots on a partly cloudy day at sunset in the San Diego Bay. "I would like to share my experiences with planning for a beach wedding on Coronado Island from across the country in Indiana. I do not know anyone from California that could help me and I wound up finding both a preacher and photographer on Craig's List. I was very pleased with the services provided by Ananda Satya Photography. I was provided the ability to pay via PayPal which made me much more comfortable with sending money when I had never met anyone. The photographer that took our pictures Anulak did a wonderful job and was very open to any ideas that we had regarding the pictures that we wanted. Our wedding was on Thursday and we were able to view a few of the pictures as early as Friday with all of them available to view by Saturday. I have not yet received my CD but I am told it is heading my way two days after my wedding. I am VERY please with the services and the quality of the pictures that we have received. The price was also VERY reasonable considering we wanted a small casual wedding with our children and did not want to spend a ton of money!"

We had Ananda as our photographer for our daughter’s Engagement photos at La Jolla, it had been storming and the photos are amazing . We also had her do the wedding at Barona Valley Ranch. Ananda took photos while my daughter dressed. Even remembered deodorant for one of the guest that had forgotten hers. Ananda is very sweet and personable, fun to work with. The photos in the chapel were wonderful and she was working with this very bright sunshine coming in the windows. She is very creative. Especially the outdoor photos are beautiful. We first met Ananda online and viewed her work. At the time, she was new in the wedding industry, but we fell in love with her creative work and decided to give her a try with our engagement pictures before having her shoot our wedding. The session for the engagement pictures went FABULOUSLY well. We liked Ananda's warm personality, her easy-going, yet very professional attitude and of course her work. The pictures turned out great! And she turned them around in two days (we asked for a special favor).
We decided to use Ananda for our special day and started booking our requests. Ananda was very accommodating to our needs. We met a few days before the wedding to make sure we had all the "couple" shots that we wanted in front of the temple/church. The pictures were stunning! Some of the shots had poor lighting, (not necessarily Ananda's fault) but she was able to "photo shop" them to perfection. The bride/groom photo session was wonderful. She came up with some creative shots and we were very pleased with the outcome.
The day of the wedding was WONDERFUL! Ananda was able to capture our day perfectly. She made sure she had all of the important parts of the wedding and also pictures of the guests. She was everywhere...it was great because we never had to go hunt her down if we wanted a picture with a certain guest - she was just there every time we turned around. Our experience with Ananda was all around, incredible. We are very pleased with our pictures and LOVE them! One thing we would suggest is that you designate a family member to help round up the correct people for the different group shots. Our family is quite large and since we didn't know Ananda very well, and she doesn't have the loudest voice, it would have been helpful to have a designated person to help gather people for different shots we wanted. Overall, we would highly recommend Ananda for your engagement and wedding photography needs. She's very dependable and honest. She won't let you down.
Ananda was extremely professional to work with. Her photography is wonderful. She over delivers on what she promises...which is a rare and terrific attribute. She definitely went above and beyond for us. We were very pleased with the pictures and the overall experience. The only reason we marked her down for 4 stars out of 5 stars on responsiveness (Wedding Wire) is because right after our wedding, she got sick, and then Thanksgiving hit so we received our pictures a little later than expected, but she kept us informed. The great thing about working with Ananda is you get to work directly with her and don't have to go through an assistant, or anybody else. And her word is her word...she's very trustworthy and professional.

Ananda did a wonderful job capturing our Wedding Day. She was ultra professional yet approachable, returned our photos in a very reasonable time frame and managed to capture a tremendous amount of emotion in many of her shots. Going through the photos for the first time, we were surprised at how much the feelings from that day came flooding back to us and we believe much of that is owed to Ananda and her great eye. Our favorite images were the unposed shots she took of us, our families and guests. Also, when you get married, you get so bombarded with all that's going on with the set-up and in your head, you miss some of the smaller details you worked so hard to have. Ananda goes out of her way to photograph the little things and it's a true joy to go back and see the photos of everything. You can tell she really loves her work and wants to get things just right. The engagement session was extensive and Ananda just kept on going so that we got shots at many different locations. Also, her turnover time for the engagement session was great, we had our photos by the end of the week. Her sparkling personality and deep passion for the field made us feel accepted both individually and in our interactions with one another.
Before the wedding Ananda was very prepared and made sure that all of the shots and people were in order. She was exactly on time and agreed to meet us at the hotel downtown. For the wedding shots we went downtown with little more then the vague notion that we wanted some city type shots. With our feeble guidance and Ananda’s great eye for architecture we found many wonderful photo opportunities. During the cocktail hour Ananda was everywhere and was able to get shots of all of our friends and family. When we went back to look at these pictures we found that she captured a large part of the wedding that we were unable to see. She was so kind and attentive to what we needed, even when we didn’t have a clear idea. Whenever we wanted a shot with friends Ananda was there to take the photo. She made sure to take a lot of different photos at each shot to insure that there was always great photo of everyone in the picture. Ananda was always professional and friendly and we could not have asked for anything more in the photographer for our wedding day.

We found Ananda via the internet on Craigslist from Washington state with only a few weeks left before our wedding. The price was great so I checked out her website and her work was great too so we decided to check more into it. On our wedding day Ananda was very professional and did a great job capturing all of the special moments. She spent about 7 hours or so taking pictures and they turned out wonderful, very pleased with her work. We have a lot of compliments on our wedding photos. I do not know anyone from California that could help me and I wound up finding both a preacher and photographer on Craig's List. We first met Ananda online and viewed her work. At the time, she was new in the wedding industry, but we fell in love with her creative work and decided to give her a try with our engagement pictures before having her shoot our wedding. The session for the engagement pictures went FABULOUSLY well. We liked Ananda's warm personality, her easy-going, yet very professional attitude and of course her work. The pictures turned out great! And she turned them around in two days (we asked for a special favor).
We decided to use Ananda for our special day and started booking our requests. Ananda was very accommodating to our needs. We met a few days before the wedding to make sure we had all the "couple" shots that we wanted in front of the temple/church. The pictures were stunning! Some of the shots had poor lighting, (not necessarily Ananda's fault) but she was able to "photo shop" them to perfection. The bride/groom photo session was wonderful. She came up with some creative shots and we were very pleased with the outcome.
The day of the wedding was WONDERFUL! Ananda was able to capture our day perfectly. She made sure she had all of the important parts of the wedding and also pictures of the guests. She was everywhere...it was great because we never had to go hunt her down if we wanted a picture with a certain guest - she was just there every time we turned around. Our experience with Ananda was all around, incredible. We are very pleased with our pictures and LOVE them! One thing we would suggest is that you designate a family member to help round up the correct people for the different group shots. Our family is quite large and since we didn't know Ananda very well, and she doesn't have the loudest voice, it would have been helpful to have a designated person to help gather people for different shots we wanted. Overall, we would highly recommend Ananda for your engagement and wedding photography needs. She's very dependable and honest. She won't let you down.
Ananda was extremely professional to work with. Her photography is wonderful. She over delivers on what she promises...which is a rare and terrific attribute. She definitely went above and beyond for us. We were very pleased with the pictures and the overall experience. The only reason we marked her down for 4 stars out of 5 stars on responsiveness (Wedding Wire) is because right after our wedding, she got sick, and then Thanksgiving hit so we received our pictures a little later than expected, but she kept us informed. The great thing about working with Ananda is you get to work directly with her and don't have to go through an assistant, or anybody else. And her word is her word...she's very trustworthy and professional.

Ananda did a wonderful job capturing our Wedding Day. She was ultra professional yet approachable, returned our photos in a very reasonable time frame and managed to capture a tremendous amount of emotion in many of her shots. Going through the photos for the first time, we were surprised at how much the feelings from that day came flooding back to us and we believe much of that is owed to Ananda and her great eye. Our favorite images were the unposed shots she took of us, our families and guests. Also, when you get married, you get so bombarded with all that's going on with the set-up and in your head, you miss some of the smaller details you worked so hard to have. Ananda goes out of her way to photograph the little things and it's a true joy to go back and see the photos of everything. You can tell she really loves her work and wants to get things just right. We highly recommend Ananda to other couples. In fact, we have friends marrying next year and they have already booked Ananda based on what they've seen in our wedding album. We also have every intention of using Ananda again in the future to shoot pregnancy and family portrait photos when the times comes for them.

We didn’t know what we were looking for in a photographer when we found Ananda’s site. Neither of us had really been photographed by a professional in the past and were a bit nervous about the process and expectations. However, our first experience with Ananda eased our anxiety. She made us feel comfortable and collaborated with us on what we wanted out of the engagement session. She knew what she needed to get great photos but also looked to us for input in what we wanted out of the time. The engagement session was extensive and Ananda just kept on going so that we got shots at many different locations. Also, her turnover time for the engagement session was great, we had our photos by the end of the week. Her sparkling personality and deep passion for the field made us feel accepted both individually and in our interactions with one another.
Before the wedding Ananda was very prepared and made sure that all of the shots and people were in order. She was exactly on time and agreed to meet us at the hotel downtown. For the wedding shots we went downtown with little more then the vague notion that we wanted some city type shots. With our feeble guidance and Ananda’s great eye for architecture we found many wonderful photo opportunities. During the cocktail hour Ananda was everywhere and was able to get shots of all of our friends and family. When we went back to look at these pictures we found that she captured a large part of the wedding that we were unable to see. She was so kind and attentive to what we needed, even when we didn’t have a clear idea. Whenever we wanted a shot with friends Ananda was there to take the photo. She made sure to take a lot of different photos at each shot to insure that there was always great photo of everyone in the picture. Ananda was always professional and friendly and we could not have asked for anything more in the photographer for our wedding day.

We found Ananda via the internet on Craigslist from Washington state with only a few weeks left before our wedding. The price was great so I checked out her website and her work was great too so we decided to check more into it. On our wedding day Ananda was very professional and did a great job capturing all of the special moments. She spent about 7 hours or so taking pictures and they turned out wonderful, very pleased with her work. We have a lot of compliments on our wedding photos. When I tell people that we found her on Craigslist and the price they flip out, we got lucky to have found her in such short notice. I highly recommend Ananda's services to anyone.
