Mark Coons (MusicMan5) > My Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens. I bought this lens used from LensProToGo (http://www.lensprotogo.com/).

This lens replaces the previous high quality L-series 28-70mm f/2.8 lens, with a lens of even greater caliber. The range has been extended to cover an ultra-wide angle of 24mm, which makes it ideal for digital as well as film shooters, and the optics are even better than before with two Aspherical elements and a totally new UD glass element. It's now sealed and gasketed against dust and moisture, and a new processing unit makes the AF faster than ever.

Key Features
• Internal Focusing
The internal focusing mechanism allows the front of the lens to remain stationary and to easily accommodate specialty filters, such as polarizing filters.
• Two Aspherical Elements
A lens design incorporating elements ground so the curve of the surface does not describe an arc of a circle. Especially useful in reducing distortion in wide angle lenses.
• UD Element
UD glass is one of the new technologies to open new possibilities to develop the zoom lenses with low weight and high optical performance. UD elements make it possible to correct chromatic aberrations whilst maintaining low weight.

Mark Coons (MusicMan5) > Canon Telephoto EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM

The EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM employs Canon's famous rear-focus telephoto optical design that delivers outstanding picture quality throughout its entire focusing range. Like its high-end siblings, this lens also uses two ultra-low dispersion glass elements to ensure maximum image sharpness and accurate color fidelity. Canon's advanced ultrasonic focusing motor & rear focusing design give silent, high speed autofocusing. It is perfectly suited for Canon's EOS system cameras, placing special emphasis on manual focusing capabilities.

Mark Coons (MusicMan5) > Canon EF 135mm F/2L -- the absolute sharpest lens I own. 5 Stars Plus for a rating from me. I love this lens.

The fastest 135mm telephoto lens in its class. Ideal for indoor sports and portraits with background blur. Two UD-glass elements correct secondary spectrum for outstanding sharpness and color. Compatible with Extender EF 1.4x II and 2x II.

Mark Coons (MusicMan5) > Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM - my indoor portrait lens - 3 stars!

Very good portrait lens for full frame cameras. MUCH cheaper than the f1.2 version, almost as good and much faster focusing. Still a good lens for portraiture on an APS-C DSLR if you have the room to back up a little (85mm APS-C = 136mm full frame).

Mark Coons (MusicMan5) > ExpoDisc - Digital White Balance Filter - Neutral for Professional Digital White Balance

The Expodisc is used in place of a white card to set manual white balance. It looks like a fat filter with a fluorescent light fixture diffuser on top and white plastic on the bottom.

You don't photograph through it. You put it over your lens and put your camera in the same position as your subject. Point the camera back to your shooting position. Set the camera's white balance while it measures the same light that will fall on the subject.

Once set, put away the Expodisc and shoot from your original position. You don't shoot through the Expodisc, except to set the WB.

It turns your camera into an incident meter. Incident meters measure the light falling on (incident to) the subject. They don't measure light reflected from the subject, as most meters do.

A great tool.
