My passion for photography started as a teenager when I my father gave me my first SLR camera for Christmas. But what truly instigated my love for photography was when I discovered the darkroom during a black and white photography class in college. Now I spend most of my time in the color darkroom.

Although I enjoy many facets of photography, travel photography inspires me most. I enjoy capturing the beauty and essence of the places I visit using available light. Nothing is staged for the camera; I capture images as I happen upon the scene. Most of us are too busy to stop and appreciate the beauty around us. These photographs are my way of freezing moments in time for everyone to enjoy.

Most of my photographs were taken on trips to Europe with my 35mm Canon 7 SLR. None of these photographs have been digitally enhanced or digitized in any way. I prefer the quality film produces over digital and have even started experimenting with large format photography.
