In March 2009, we spent a day in Kimmswick, Missouri just south of St. Louis. Compared to when this small town celebrates the Strawberry Festival and Apple Butter Festival, it was MUCH sleepier at this time of year...though the Blue Owl is ALWAYS packed. I love the older buildings here, and the uniquely decorated shops downtown.
