Artist's Bio
A self taught photographer, Anne Fearon-Wood has been interested in photography for over 30 years. She was born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada and graduated from an Ontario university with a degree in Biology (BSc), an Outdoor Recreation Management degree (HBOR) and a certificate in Parks and Tourism. She has called beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, home for twenty years.
Anne is passionate about photography and believes it is an art to observe nature's beauty and find something interesting in the ordinary. She loves shooting landscapes, macro and wildlife and her goal is to constantly challenge herself learning new techniques, lighting, and composition. Her published work can be found in calenders, posters, advertising mediums, magazines, and technical journals. Her works have been involved in an Australian photo exhibit and Montreal Biosphere year-long exhibition sponsored by Environment Canada, City of Montreal and the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
Besides photography, her other interests include travelling, hiking, sailing, and cycling.
