"Recess" at the "playground" means the monthly concert at Powers' Music - "the muscian's playground." [133 West Main Street in Springfield]. Each month store owner Ramona "Mo" Powers holds a 3-4 band concert in her store to give area bands a chance to showcase their talents. The musical genre differs each month - from metal/punk in Sept. to upcoming country, rock, christian, gospel and even classical bands.
