Magnolia Stellata 2009
This Spring, 2009, I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful tree at Kit's house. Although it was May, mid summer warmth arrived with 90 degree temps for 4 days and the bloom cycle which normally is 2-3 weeks was shortened to 4 days. I fortunately had the time during those evenings and some mornings to capture the flowering. ...too bad I couldn't have also captured the scent. Thanks Kit!
