The Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory - Ladies and Gentlemen of the Regiment, Headquarters Mesa, Arizona is an 'INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION'.
Theme: "Lest We Forget"
Military Balls have been an established formal event in the Arizona Territory dating back to the 19th century. Our research indicates this is the first 21th Century Military Ball honoring the Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory and Ladies and Gentlemen of the Regiment. Their devotion to duty and courage deserve recognition. This is our way of saying: "Lest We Forget".
The period of dress for the formal ball spanned a timeframe from 1865 to 1902. Each of the ladies and gentlemen and children of the regiment were dressed in costumes dipicting different characters from that period.
