The second biennial Conference on Human Formation took place April 15-18, 2018, at Saint Meinrad Archabbey.
The conference focused on intercultural competences for human formation, sharing new strategies for evaluating, forming and acculturating international candidates, clergy and religious for ministry in the United States.
The workshop topics included: culture vs. personality, cultural intelligence, freedom of discernment, language considerations, interpersonal boundaries and psychosexual issues, styles of pastoral authority, and lessons learned by diocesan and religious personnel.
The conference is co-sponsored by Saint Luke Institute and Saint Meinrad Archabbey and its Seminary and School of Theology.
