Lambton 0-6-2T No. 29 had been turned to face north at Pickering for the return run of the 40th anniversary special to Grosmont. The engine had to come off the train there as it is not registered for running on Network Rail and was replaced by 75029 for the remainder of the trip into Whitby, with 62005 still on the rear. Lambton 0-6-2T No. 29 and K1 2-6-0 No. 62005 have now arrived at Pickering station with the 40th anniversary special train to celebrate the Royal opening of the NYMR.
