Summer Milky Way (northern hemisphere) over Star party lights. milky Way from Scutum/Serpens to Cepheus (Sagittarius just setting).

Taken at Saskatchewan Summer Star party, Saturday, August 23, 2003. Taken with 35mm full-frame fisheye lens at f/5.6 on Ektachrome E200 slide film for 1h15minutes. Taken on medium format 120 film with Pentax 6x7. Tracked but not guided. Streaks are stationary lights on scopes that trailed while camera tracked the moving sky. This is a single exposure not a composite or fake. 

Scanned at 8x Sampling and SuperFine mode. Glow layer aded to sky to add glow around stars. Slight Dec trailing vertically from inaccurate polar alignment and long exposure time.

Virgo, taken with 90mm lens at f/4 with Fujchrome 400F slide film, 120-format and Pentax 6x7 camera. 20 minute exposure. Spica at bottom centre.

Taken April 17, 2004 from home. Glow layer added in Photoshop to add enhanced glow around brighter stars and to enlarge star images. Gradient due to low altitude.
December southern sky from Vela/Puppis area to Centaurus, framed diagonally. 

Taken from NSW, Australia December 2003, with Pentax 6x7 camera with 55mm wide-angle lens at f/4.5 with Ektachrome E200 slide film, 120-format, and 40 minute exposure. 

Some slight trailing. Anti-vignetting mask applied to reduce corner darkening. Glow layer added in Photoshop to fuzz stars.
