Some agapanthus, or Lily of the Nile, flowers outside my house. Nothing too creative, just set my aperture to 2.8 and looked for an interesting angle. I ended up spending a lot of time in Photoshop to remove a bug that threw off the composition, so it wasn't exactly "quick and dirty" like I planned at first. Oh well!

Judges Comments - U picked a hard subject because of size of flower head. Watch background colours, white (bottom) brown’s & other flowers. Appears to be sharp a bit back from middle flower, I get drawn 2 middle flower, this is a still life and you have control, light is spot on, try black or green mount board behind will make the blues jump out. (keep working on shot)
