SmugMug > keywords > aidan > Day 258: Aidan September 16, 2009 I worked a full day today and then rushed home to pack. I didn't realize until now (after 9pm) that I have no photo for today. Sorry for the cheat but I took this a few weeks ago. It's my nephew Aidan, who I adore. He's the older brother of Collin, the boy who's portrait I tried selective coloring about 2 week ago. I'm leaving tomorrow morning for the airport with 4 friends and it's OFF TO GREECE!! Yay!! If I don't get to post a photo tomorrow, you'll know why. There is WIFI in Crete (at least that's what I'm told) so hopefully I'll be able to upload a POTD each day. I may not be able to do much commenting but I will certainly try. Cross your fingers for a safe journey! :)

I visited my brothers family who was vacationing in Montauk last night. My mom was there too and let me tell you, Grandma is so proud that her grandson loves lobster. She was born and raised in Massachussetts by a mother that was born and raised in Orono, Maine. Lobster is the best food PERIOD in her New England opinion. She was so pleased to see Aidan digging the meat out of the claw with such excitement. Here he is holding the lobster of his choice, before it was plunged into a pot of boiling water.
