SmugMug > keywords > backwoods > July 12th, 2009 Whitetail deer grazing just outside of our property. Unfortunately, this deer wasn't afraid of me at all. I used a 300mm on a full-frame camera and barely cropped the image in Lightroom- she let me pretty close. I'd prefer the wildlife run away from all humans so that when hunting season comes around this fall she'll be more wary. I forgot to scare her away like I should have-I was taking pictures and wasn't using my head and she just meandered away after more than a dozen images.
