SmugMug > keywords > birdhouse > May 1st, 2009 Impressionist Landscaping One of our neighbors has the most glorious yard. This is only a very small glimpse of it. I wasn't able to capture as much detail as I would've liked, because it was taken through the living room picture window using near-maximum zoom. But I loved the colors -- it reminds me of an Impressionist painting. Best seen at a larger size, but please try to overlook the lack of detail! Probably won't have time to post again until Monday (although I'll do my best to at least upload a shot of my booth!), as we leave this afternoon for the art show in my hometown. Here's the website if you care to check it out: 2009 Heart of Virginia Festival The show is more than just art -- it's music, crafts, food, fireworks, marathons, classic cars, and amusement rides. The population of Farmville is about 6,800, but on the first Saturday of every May, it swells to about 36,000!
