10.21.09 = A peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a small bag of chips and a Little Debbie snack cake; what a perfect lunch when you’re a kid. My wonderful mother use to make our lunch every day when we were in school. She would write our names on the outside of the bag and line them up in order on the kitchen counter. The days when the bag was heavy, we knew we got an apple instead of a Little Debbie. We had lunch boxes when we were younger and my favorite was a Snoopy lunch box. Whether you carried your lunch in a box or a bag, it was homemade with love. I remember she would sometimes draw a happy face and say, “I love you” on the napkin. Even after all these years I remember and appreciate all you did. Thanks Mom, I love you! :D
