SmugMug > keywords > bridle > Green Green Grass I finished sorting through more horse shots from yesterday and have added them to my What's New gallery, for those who were interested in looking through them. This shot in particular was a spur of the moment idea. I was pretty amazed by how healthy this small pasture looked, so I decided to try and capture that while my friend here was munching right in front of me. I believe my dad would be proud to have this pasture as part of his yard, although I'm pretty sure he'd be itching to mow it.

SmugMug > keywords > bridle > 28 Rebecca Howie After The Workout Judge 1:The capture is wonderful! The mist and lighting is perfect! I would have liked to see details in the horse's face more. But othewise…..great!!! This would have been a GREAT black & white!! Judge 2:Getting the backlight in the water and hose has impact, but the loss of detail in the shadows leaves only the water. The image is well framed, and has energy. Judge 3:Nice light effect through the spray. You need to pay attention to what is in the light - the hose and rope are too prominent here. Woman could be in better position and there could be a little more fill on horse's head and neck.
