SmugMug > keywords > caterpillar > The young kids at where we were staying were always keen to let us know if it was wise or not to touch any of the often amazing-looking caterpillars that we came across. Most were fine to do so. This one, found crawling across our picnic table one afternoon, got a chorus of head shakes from the kids. We didn't know what would have happened if one of us had been bold enough to touch it, but as none of us did it never became an issue. Cool-looking bug, though. SmugMug > keywords > caterpillar > July 25 '09 day 376 caterpillar well the boys had a birthday party & sleepover w/ Vernando. the hubby and i have almost 24hrs without them. so we did what any self respecting adult would do- watched horror movies!! :0) the one lil black rain cloud on my day was finding this guy and 2 of his friends on my massive tomato bushes. i found a couple small black one and one slightly fuzzy brown one also. i'm sorry to say that they were all slaughtered. i really do love all critters, even the ugly ones, but don't mess with my tomatoes! that is where i draw the line!! i chose to limit my focus on the end of this lil buggers body because... well, he's got a face only a mother could love, hasn't he? and before he was a temperamental lil thing too. i'm sure that knowing he would meet his end shortly played into why he didn't want so pose nicely for the big mean human. go ahead.... call PETA. i'll be waiting. :0) oh and one more thing, i would like to publically announce that i absolutely adore Miss Carole (irishmurr)!! i know most of you know her and think she's great as well but i have to say every single day, she's there to encourage me, to make me smile and basically make my world a better place.
