SmugMug > keywords > cemeteries > November 5th, 2009 Another of the fancy gravestones in Charlotte, North Carolina's Settlers' Cemetery, which is located downtown. If you view this larger, you'll see this one marks the burial place of at least 3 family members. Do wish I'd seen the hospital sign in the background before taking this picture. But on second thought, it lends a certain air of irony to the shot (read the inscription on the grave!) so I opted not to omit it. Today is setup for the Richmond Christmas Craftsmen's Classic Arts & Crafts Show (say that 3 times fast!) so it will be a very long day. The show opens tomorrow!
